Sustainable Development Page

Aware of the impact of its activities on the environment, SODEARIF is committed to “sustainable construction” offering clients and partners innovative solutions in line with their budgetary constraints.

Therefore, SODEARIF systematically proposes eco-variants to its clients:

  • by advising its clients on their sustainable development strategy,
  • by designing eco-neighbourhoods in mixed development zones (ZAC in French).

Over the last few months, SODEARIF has implemented many ambitious projects able to respond to the growing requirements of investors and has been awarded environmental certifications.

HEQ labelling

This certification integrates two requirements:

  • the system of operations management satisfies criteria which respect the environment,
  • environmental qualities especially for buildings: eco-construction, eco-management of consumption, comfort and health of the occupants.

H&E (Habitat and Environment) Certification

Since 2003, this initiative aims to take into account the preservation of the environment throughout the lifecycle of the home. The 3 levels of requirements are:

  • environmental management of the operation and keeping the building site clean,
  • 4 levels of performance: reduction of greenhouse emissions, the construction channel, water management, the comfort and health of the residents,
  • communication based on green behaviour.

High Energy Performance Label

Level 1 High Energy Performance (HPE)

  • Building with a consumption of less than 10 % of the RT 2005 energy consumption reference

Level 2 High Energy Performance – Renewable energy (HPE EnR)

Further to the requirements of level 1, this level includes a supplementary condition either:
  • over 50 % of the consumption provided by a biomass generator,
  • heating system which uses over 60% renewable energy.

Level 3 Very High Energy Performance (THPE)

  • Building with consumption lower than 20% of the RT 2005 energy consumption reference

Level 4 Very High Energy Performance – Renewable energy (THPE EnR)

  • Further to the requirements of level 3, this level includes using other complementary solutions: solar panels for hot water or heating systems, biomass generators, heat pumps, etc.

Level 5 Low Consumption Building (BBC)

  • Building using a maximum of 50 Kwh/year/m²
  • Office building with a consumption 50% lower than the RT 2005 energy consumption reference
